Xiaomi is gearing up to launch MIUI 15 and is currently testing Android 14 on its Xiaomi 13 lineup and Xiaomi 12T. While a preliminary list has emerged detailing which older smartphones from the brand are likely to receive the software update, it’s essential to note that Xiaomi has not officially confirmed this information.
Based on leaks, rumours, and past releases, the highly anticipated MIUI 15 is anticipated to be released in November, bringing with it a slew of new features and improvements. Xiaomi recently announced the MIUI beta program, based on Android 14, for the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 12T smartphones.
In addition, a new report indicates that Xiaomi has commenced the development of MIUI 14.1 for select Xiaomi and Redmi devices, set to arrive soon. MIUI 14.1 will likely be based on Android 14 and available for a few Xiaomi flagship devices. Other eligible devices for the Android 14 update will receive it alongside the MIUI 15 version.
